PHILIPPINE ECONOMY POSIBLE NA NGA MAGBALIK SA PRE-PANDEMIC LEVEL SA 2022 SUNO SA NEDA

Posible na nga magbalik ang ekonomiya sang pungsod sa pre-pandemic level sa masunod nga tuig.

Ini bangud naman sa “higher-than-expected growth” sa third quarter, suno sa National Economic and Development Authority.

“To get to pre-pandemic nominal GDP level, it would certainly be in 2022, even as early as the first quarter,” suno kay NEDA chief Karl Chua.

Gindugang pa ni Chua nga ang pinakabag-o nga outturn ang nagpabaskog man sa “country’s shot kag upper middle-income country (UMIC) status, ” nga target sang mga economic managers sa madugay na nga panahon.

“For the UMIC status, it is really slated end of 2022 or early 2023. But I think given the strong progress, the likelihood of achieving that even within 2022 is now higher,” suno kay socioeconomic planning secretary.
