Gin-anunsyo sang Department of Education (DepEd) nga makaangkon sang pagbag-o sa school calendar para sa School Year 2020-2021.
Pirmado ni Education Secretary Leonor Briones ang ginpaggwa nga DepEd Order No. 012, series of 2021 nga may titulo nga “Amendment to DepEd Order No. 030, s. 2020 (Amendment to DepEd Order No. 007, s. 2020, School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2020-2021).”
“To allow schools to implement interventions for bridging learning gaps and to give time to teachers for the different learning delivery modalities,” paathag sang ahensya.
Gin-abisuhan sang DepEd ang mga manunudlo, mga ginikanan kag estudyante nahanungod sa mga pagbag-o sa mga aktibidad sa mga masunod nga petsa:
March 1 tubtob 12, 2021(Interventions para sa bridging learning gaps kag learning gains)
March 15 tubtob 19, 2021(In-Service Training (INSET) para sa mga manunudlo kag school break sa mga estudyante)
March 22 tubtob May 15, 2021(Umpisa sang Quarter 3)
May 17 tubtob July 10, 2021(Umpisa sang Quarter 4)
“The additional two-week period shall be compensated by a similar adjustment in the school break between SY. 2020-2021 and SY. 2021-2022,” dugang pa sang DepEd.
Gin-athag naman sang ahensya nga epektibo ang bag-o nga polisiya sa tanan nga public elementary kag secondary schools bug-os nga Pilipinas para School Year 2020-2021.
Ginhaylo naman ang mga pribado nga eskwelagan, technical kag vocational institutions, kag higher education institutions, kaupod ang state kag local universities and colleges nga nagatanyag sang K to 12 Basic Education Program nga ipatuman man ang nasambit nga pagsulundan.
