SOUTH AFRICAN VARIANT SANG COVID-19, YARI NA SA PILIPINAS

Nakadangat na sa Pilipinas ang mas makalalaton nga South African variant sang COVID-19.Suno sa Department of Health, nakarekord na ang mga ini sang anum ka mga kaso as of March 2, 2021.

Ginapahayag nga sa 6 ka mga South African variant cases, tatlo diri ang local cases, duha ang returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs), kag isa naman ang padayon pa nga ginaverify.

“Of the six South African variant cases, three are local cases, two are returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs), and one case is still being verified as to location,” pahayag sang DOH.

Suno sa DOH, ang tatlo ka local cases sang South African variant ang nareport nga mga residente sang Pasay City sa diin ang ila mga samples ang nakolekta sadtong Enero 27 kag Pebrero 13.

Duha sa mga local cases amo ang 61-anyos nga babayi kag 39-anyos nga lalaki nga lunsay mga aktibo nga kaso kag yara na karon sa paghinakop sang Pasay City.

Samtang ang ikatatlo naman nga kaso amo ang 40-anyos nga lalaki nga nakarekober na sa karon.

“Two of the local cases, a 61-year-old female and a 39-year-old male, are active cases being managed by Pasay City. The third local case, a 40-year-old male, has already recovered.”

“On the other hand, the two ROFs arrived in the country from UAE and Qatar; their statuses are currently being verified. Moreover, the DOH is currently verifying if the sixth case is a local case or an ROF,” pahayag sang ahensya.
