Nagaplano ang Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) nga mag-import sang ginabulubanta 450-000 metric tons (MT) sang refined sugar bilang sabat sa mando ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nga magbilin sang duha ka bulan nga buffer stock sang kalamay.
Suno kay SRA Board Member Pablo Azcona, yara na ang ila agency sa “draft stage” sang plano nga importation.
Sang Lunes, Enero 16, gin-anunsyo ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nga magabilin ang iya administrasyon sang duha ka bulan nga buffer stock agud malikawan ang kakulang sa suplay.
“So far, we are at the draft stage. What we did is we made a draft for the importation plan. This draft [will be] sent to all stakeholders and the DA (Department of Agriculture) for comments… So far the [planned] volume is swinging at 400,000 to 450,000 in total,” pahayag ni Azcona.
