Ini ang paglaragway sang grupo nga Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT)-Philippines, sa trabaho sang mga manunudlo, sa pampubliko nga mga buluthuan sa Pilipinas.
Ginpalayag ni ACT Philippines spokesperson Ruby Bernardo, nga nagatudlo ang mga manunudlo nga wala untat sa sulod sang anum ka oras adlaw adlaw kag may yara pa sang mga manunudlo nga may workloads nga masobra sa anum ka oras.
Angut sini, nag apela si Bernardo sa Department of Education (DEPED), nga hatagan ang mga public school teachers sang dugang nga oras para sa pag preparar sang ila nga leksyon, mag check sang ila nga outputs, mag compute sang grades kag mag monitor sang “progress” sang ila mga estudyante.
Suno sa ACT, kinahanglan nga panubu-an sa apat ka oras ang “daily time allotment” para sa “actual teaching” sang mga public school teachers.
Statement of Bernardo:
“Overworking our teachers is counterproductive to education recovery. We need less teaching and non-teaching load. We need more time to prepare our lessons and fulfill other teaching-related duties to be able to deliver quality teaching.
We need our rightful time to rest. If we want the quality of teaching to improve, we need to reduce to four hours the daily time allotment for actual teaching, while the other four hours should be used for lesson preparations and other teaching-related duties.”
