25 ka persona gindala sa ospital bangud sa red tide poisoning sa Masbate

Ginhingagaw dala sa ospital ang 25 ka mga persona, nalakip pa ang apat ka mga menor de edad matapos magkaon sang “windowpane oyster” ukon lampirong nga infected sang ride tide sa Milagros, Masbate sadtong Miyerkules, Oktubre 12.

Naka-eksperyensya ang mga biktima sang paralytic shellfish poisoning, suno kay Nonie Enolva, spokesperson sang Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) sa Bicol.

Nahibaluan nga nagpagwa sang advisory ang BFAR-Bicol duha ka adlaw antis sang insidente, may angut sa shellfish ban bangud sang presensya sang red tide toxin sa baybayon sang Milagros kag Sorsogon Bay.

Pagsuka kag sakit sang tyan ang mga sintomas sang mga biktima.

“Eleven of them were admitted to the Rural Health Unit of Milagros while 14 others were admitted to the Masbate Provincial Hospital. All patients are in stable condition but are still recuperating as of Tuesday afternoon,” suno kay Enolva.*
