BACOLOD CITY– Gin-bida ang mga coconut products sang Pilipinas sa ika-8 nga Selangor International Expo Food and Beverage sa Kuala Lumpur Convention Center sa Malaysia.
Suno sa Embassy sang Pilipinas sa Kuala Lumpur, ang nasambit nga expo ang isa ka selebrasyon sang global food and beverages industry.
Ginpangunahan ang selebrasyon sang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) pinaagi sa Export Marketing Bureau kag Philippine Trade and Investment Center.
Naghalin ang mga produkto sa 16 ka mga exhibitors nga gusto ipakita sa Malaysia ang mga coconut products kag iban pa.
Ginalauman sang Pilipinas nga magdangat sa Php264,000,000.00 ang benta sang pungsod.
“It’s about time that we introduce and promote our coconut products to the Malaysian market, which has a strong purchasing power…Malaysians are discerning as consumers, and I am confident that with the products that you have, which are not just visually attractive in terms of packaging but also excellent in terms of content, Philippine coconut products will be able to penetrate the Malaysian market,” suno kay Philippine Ambassador sa Malaysia nga si Charles Jose.*
