Nagapati si Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla nga indi pa “culturally ready” ang Pilipinas pag-abot sa “same-sex marriage”.
“Sabi nga natin, eh, culturally, our values may conflict with many of the values that they want to impose on us… We are not ready for that. Culturally, we are not ready for that,” suno kay Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla.
“That’s what we believe, ha? Unless somebody argues otherwise. That’s our position right now,” dugang pa ni Remulla.
Gintudlo man ni Remulla ang Kongreso nga pwede magpasa sang lehislasyon angot diri kag mangin polisiya na sang pungsod kung batonon ini ukon indi.
Suno naman kay Justice Undersecretary Raul Vasquez, ginkontra sang pungsod ang rekomendasyon sang pila ka member-states sang United Nations Human Rights Council nga himoon legal ang abortion kag divorce, mangin ang Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression Eqaulity (SOGIE) bill.
