Arlene Brosas may pahayag angut sa menstrual leave bill

Kulang ang sick leave para sa mga babayi nga naga-eksperiensya sang binulan nga regla, suno kay Gabriela party-list House Assistant Minority Leader Arlene Brosas.

Nagpalab-ot naman sang mensahe si Brosas kay Employers Confederation of the Philippines President Sergio Ortiz-Luis nga sakop sang menstrual leave bill ang service incentive leave, maternity leave, solo parent leave kag leave para sa mga biktima sang malain nga pagtratar.

“Sick leaves are inadequate to cover the health consequences of monthly menstrual-related symptoms that women workers experience. From our proposed wage increase to our recently filed menstrual leave, ECOP never fails to counter pro-worker measures in the name of maintaining super profits for big businesses. Ang matinding kinakaharap ng kababaihan ay ang mababang pasahod at kawalan ng benepisyo, hindi ang menstrual leave na tiyak na magiging malaking alwan para sa kanila,” suno kay Brosas.

Madumduman nga ginduso ni Brosas sa Senado ang House Bill 7758 ukon menstrual leave sa tanan nga babayi nga mga empleyado sang pribado kag publiko nga mga sektor.*
