Gov. Lacson may mensahe para sa mga rebelde

“In war there is no winners, you can lose people from the government and from the New People’s Army,” pahayag ni Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson sang nangayo ang media sang iya mensahe para sa mga rebelde.

Ini may angut sa armed conflict sa Himamaylan, Negros Occidental nga naglawig na sang anum ka adlaw.

Sumatotal 18,236 naman ka mga indibidwal ang apektado sa kinagamo.

Nagalaum si Lacson nga ma-settle down na ang sitwasyon sa Himamaylan kag makabalik na ang mga residente sa ila tagsa ka kumunidad.

“We are hoping that the situation in Himamaylan will settle down and that the residents can go back to their respective communities,” suno kay Lacson.

Nagahingyo naman ini sa mga rebelde nga magbalik na sa sabak sang layi bangud wala sang kadalag-an sa giyera.

“We’ve already been extending that appeal for so long already. We’ve extended our arms for peace. We have even given financial assistance for those who have returned to the fold of the government. That offer is still there and there’s still no winners here so we’re hoping that they will decide to just return to the fold of our government.”

Paagi sa Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program nga nagapadayon, may pila naman ka mga surrenderers nga nagbalik na sa sabak sang layi kag nagbaton sang bulig halin sa gobyerno.

“Through ECLIP that has been ongoing already, we have a share of surrenderes that have returned to the fold of law and received assistance already,” suno kay Lacson.

Posible nga magabisita si Lacson sa mga apektado nga residente sa Himamaylan sa buwas nga adlaw, Biyernes, Oktubre 13.*
