Ginaganyat ni Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III ang mga empleyado nga e-report ang mga employer nga nagapatuman sang iligal nga polisiya nga “no vaccine, no salary”.
“Please come to us. If you don’t want to be identified, just tell us who are these employers and we will be willing to conduct an inspection. We assure you that we will take immediate legal action,” promisa ni ni Bello sa publiko sa isa ka virtual media.
Ini bilang sabat sa pahayag sang Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) nga imbestigahan ang iban ka employer nga wala ginasweldohan ang ila mga empleyado nga indi pa kumpleto ang bakuna batok sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Dugang pa sang organisasyon, magahatag sila sang mga pangalan sang mga establisimyento nga nagapatigayon sang nasambit nga polisiya.
“We would appreciate if they could identify the names of the employers or the business for us to conduct an inspection,” pahayag ni Bello.
Kung mapamatud-an, ginsiguro ni Bello nga magapaguwa sila sang compliance order batok sa mga empleyado agud bayaran nila ang sweldo sang ila empleyado bangod sa kakulangan sang legal nga basehan agud ipiton ini.
“Yung hindi pag-vaccine, hindi iyan legal basis to withhold the salary of the employees, so hindi pwede ang ‘no vaccine, no pay’ policy,” pahayag ni Bello.
