May plano ang Department of Justice (DOJ) nga magpasaka sang Writ of Kalikasan batuk sa grupo, organisasyon, ukon indibidwal nga mapamatud-an nga responsable sa nagluntad nga oil spill sa Oriental Mindoro agud masilutan ang mga ini.
Sa report sang Pilipino Star Ngayon, ginpahayag ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla nga may gintalana sila nga deadline batuk sa insurer sang mga claimant nga apektado sang oil spill.
Ang Writ of Kalikasan ang isa ka legal nga solusyon para sa proteksyon sang kinamatarong sa balanse kag maayo nga ecology. Nakaasad ini sa Section 16 sang Article II sang Konstitusyon.
“Tamaan na ang tatamaan, kasi we’ve said this….this is a crime – the sea is now the scene of the crime…you know that, so we have to work within that premise that the crime has committed and we have to correct the effects of the crime,” pahayag ni Remulla.*
